Jim Lestage of RWC will be presenting on vertical and horizontal firestopping.
Course Description:
This course will outline the importance of proper firestopping design and recognizing the advantage of manufactured systems. Once the course is over the engineer will be able to recognize the importance of manufactured systems and update plumbing specifications to include manufactured, tested systems.
Course Learning Objectives:
- Understand what firestopping is
- Understand the importance of firestopping in design
- Recognize the advantages of manufactured systems vs. built-in-place systems
- Be able to identify correctly applied systems
- Be able to effectively update plumbing specifications
